the last dance

last february 15, 2008 the js prom was held at ISNHS centennial gymnasium.

it was the night of all nights indeed. the ladies were eloquent and beautiful, the gentlemen were awesome and handsome, the music was nice(except the last music that they played) and the floor was hot. love was in the AIR that night.

why? you can see people embracing each other while they were dancing and even couple who were kissing, see that?

it was crowded that night that's why...

anyway, it was the night of all nights. though it didn't end up the way i was thinking i still enjoyed my last dance.

director's cut!

movie making.

it was a lil bit hard to make your own movie.

but it was really fun.

timing. transitions. effects.

i had a hard time constructing my movie because of these above three reasons. i spent three nights just to come up wih good result. but thank God my struggles and sleepless nights were all worthed.

my movie worked.

but the day that i'm going to submit it i just found it out that i didn't follow the right procedure in saving a movie.

but thanks to our teacher, she told me the right process that's why i have submitted my projet right on time.

moving on i will continue using the movie maker.

anyway, here's my project.

sparkling 2008!farewell 2007!

we were done with our 3rd periodical test!--nosebleed. since we're through i guess we're done with those thousands of head onerous tags .

finally, we're moving on welcome third grading farewell third grading...

no more exers?ah-uh, a way to go before i'm done and can get rid of those nostalgic exers and head breaking tags and codes.

unfortunately, the result of my test wasn't good enough, just so-so... i deserve it, it's my price for not reviewing my lessons. wish i can turn back time.

++start the html document right++

since i was absent for a week, i have learned from mark linn and rechiel that they have gone too far from our lesson and that's HTMLs. HTML tags, HTML documents and all about tags like stand alone tags, container tags and...end of thinking capacity. they were also done with their exer 1,2,3..dot.htm.

these EXERs were typed in notepad but they said that in just a single mistake my html document code won't work so i must be careful in typing the codes.

so, there's the problem. since i really need to cram to finish my activities i typed/encoded the codes faster than the usual but it was pretty obvious that it was not 100% accurate. why? because, at first the codes didn't work.

i had a hard time figuring out where was the error was, that i sought for the help of my angels--friends, to help me figure out where did i go wrong.i was pressured that time by my classmates "athina, let's have our recess na. time na kaya 'no." Ohhey??

LESSON:
slowly but surely.

this thought is the gist of my err act. thus, moving on i will exert extra effort in typing my codes. i will not cram anymore, i'll take my time, and won't let others pressure me again.

busy days are here...

fun and tiring activities were on the loose:

2. food festival

two weeks ago was:
not boring...
so tiring...
fun!fun!and lots of fun!

and lots of blogs!

basically, we started our lesson like the usual routine. first, what is a blog, history, uses and types. i was so excited to create my blog. and here it is...

anyway, our last two weeks was so tiring and fun. we, the iv-maxwell joined the different contests of the tle club. i got the company of cheng, teh, det, chamaine, ghia, jc, carlo, harley, alexis, jay and romnick... we had a lot of fun making our chips. our main goal was to make a cheap, attractive and nutritious chips. it was a hooray when finally det and i cooked and tasted some of our home made chips---yummy!

let's go back to blogging...
we were allowed to create our blog as soon as our teacher instructed as to make one. we chose our own template and uploaded our own photos... we took some photos too inside our computer room---look at how excited we were those times.

what are the new learnings that I've learned?

i never cared what was internet the first day i heard it. honestly, as long as i know how to use an internet connected computers search engines and url's significance never bothered me ---they never came across to my mind.

however, their importance was revealed after we tackled about "ethernet". touching the world of internet's history needs a lot of time. i am so fascinated by the band Beatles after they played for the Queen Elizabeth of England which was proclaimed to the world because of internet ---God, Beatles do rock!

the launching of Apollo11 was telecast through internet ---i really can't imagine how it works! learning groups were introduced too, which is a useful way for sharing informations and facts. inhere, the common issues are religion, culture and beliefs or simply the internet itself.

have you ever tried wondering how was internet born? indeed, we did. we've learned that the birth of internet took many years before finally it is widely known and common to us... from 23tubes to 1m tubes then poof INTERNET is on its way.

search engines and url? we tackled that too!

blog, blogs and more blogs! this is what i'm expecting on my 2nd blog.



what are the problems that i encountered?

in a class, problems will never be absent.

but as they said there will always be a cure for any problem that arises. so far, quizzes and notes are my major problem.

fortunately, i never encountered any problem in using the search engines,url and on tracing the history how internet was born.
